Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Nell McLemore, age 93 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Rev. Reagan Colvin officiating.
Nell graduated from Mangham High School and later graduated from the Methodist Seminary becoming an ordained Minister. As a paster's wife, she counseled many people through difficult times in their lives. Nell was a founding board member of Riverfield Academy in Rayville, LA, a published book author penning "A Call to Balance", and helped establish prayer rooms all over Louisiana. She was also an accomplished song writer. Nell was a loving Christian, Mother, and servant of God.
Nell was preceded in death by her husbands: Horace Wiggers and Rev. Cage McLemore; parents: Frank and Stella McDonald; and three sisters: Bonnie Sue Wynn, Marjorie Ruth Gregory, and Mary Lou Lane.
She is survived by her two daughters: Barbara Baertschi (Martin) and Lydia Albritton (Dallas); son: Myles McLemore (Debbie); ten grandchildren: Colin Nurmi (Josh), Adrian McNally (Xander), Corey Elliott, Austin Murphy, Amber Elliott, David Albritton, Gavin Albritton, Daisy McLemore, and Mikey McLemore; five great grandchildren: Conner Nurmi, Ethan Nurmi, Annabelle McNally, Emma Elliott, and Brooklyn Elliott; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dallas Albritton, Gavin Albritton, Austin Murphy, and David Albritton.
Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 AM at Farrar Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
