William Harvey
Nance
May 12, 1969 — Aug 18, 2025
Farmerville
Funeral services for William Harvey Nance, age 56 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Ruben Weaver officiating.
Harvey attended Start High School. After high school he worked at Richland Farm Supply, Steel Fabricators of Monroe, and as a railroad welder for Union Pacific for 15 years. Harvey was a man who loved big-especially when it came to his family. It was love at first sight when he met his wife, and that love only grew stronger through the years. A proud father and even prouder Pawpaw, his grandbabies were the light of his life. A jokester at heart, Harvey could always be counted on to bring a laugh, a smile, or a playful tease. But behind every joke was a man with a deep and unwavering love for the people closet to him. Harvey was never happier than when he was in the woods, hunting deer-a passion he passed down to his children with great pride, and one he was eager to share with his grandchildren. If he wasn't out hunting, you could find him with his brother Terry or his lifelong best friend, David-his two constant companions in both mischief and memories. Harvey's love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught, and the generations he helped shape. He will be missed more than words can say.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Judy Gayle Rawls Nance; grandparents, William Joseph and Mollie Gilley Nance, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Danna Yvonne Dulaney Nance; children, Kasey Henry (Zack), Willliam Jacob Nance (Amber), and Jordan Nance (Addison); grandchildren, Adalynne, Landry, Ava, Maddie, and Luke William; two brothers, James Nance, Jr. and Terry Nance (Tonya); sister, Tammy Walters (Larry); a host of nieces and nephews; and life long friends, David and Tammi Moore and their family.
Visitation will be held at 12:30 PM, prior to the service, starting at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church.
