Graveside services for Wallace Love Roberson, 76, of Marion, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Union Primitive Cemetery, near Linville, with Bro. Don Reeves officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Roberson passed away on September 29, 2020.  Mr. Roberson worked for over 18 years in the gas field, and 10 years as a foreman in construction for gas and chemical plants.  During this time Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Sue enjoyed traveling around the United States meeting many people.  For a number of years he maintained the Linville/Haile Water System as the Quality Manager, winning awards for Best Water in his District.  He loved music and the many gatherings on porches and under the shed.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to garden.  Mr. Wallace was well liked in the community and loved to visit with everyone.  He always made time to speak to everyone he came in contact with.

Mr. Roberson was preceded in death by his parents, Furmon & Minnie Beasley Roberson; brother, Arthur Roberson; and son, Shawn Dean.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Sue Roberson; children, Lisa Wheeler (Joe), Brad Roberson (Beth), William Dean (Jennifer), Willie Dean (Kellie), Kim Thompson (Chad), Jarrell Dean and Michelle King (William); brother, J.M. Roberson (Jackie); sister, Maurine Armstrong; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. ~ 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Union Primitive Cemetery.
