Funeral services for Vivian Mercyle Silmon, 74, of Downsville will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Bro. Scott Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Silmon went to her heavenly home October 18, 2017. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Assembly of God and was retired from the Union Parish School System.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Silmon; parents: Thomas V. and Ethel Tedeton; 7 siblings and 1 grandchild, Brittney Silmon.

Left to cherish her memory is her significant other, Jerry J. Bullock; 2 sons: Donnie Ray Silmon & wife, Beth, and Bobby L. Silmon & wife Leatha; 1 daughter, Starla K. Brazzel & husband, Richard; 1 brother, Michael Tedeton & wife, Sheryl all of Downsville; 1 sister, Linda "Linky" Pender of Farmerville; 1 brother-in-law, Emmett Silmon & wife, Pat of Downsville; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Travis Guice, Ricky Silmon, Dayton Callander, Matthew Eubanks, Cody Tipton, and Joey Silmon.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00pm Saturday at Farrar Funeral Home.
