Funeral services for Viola Parks Ricks, 85, of Farmerville will be held at 10:00am, Monday, August 29, 2016 at Farmerville First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Robbie Lawson and Bro. Eugene Brown officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Ricks, a retired homemaker, went to her heavenly home August 26, 2016. She was a member of Farmerville First Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ricks; daughter, Sherri Lynn Ricks; parents, Joe Columbus & Mollie Burks Parks; four brothers, Marlin Parks, Clarence Parks, O.D. Parks and Elmer Parks; and one great-grandson, Spencer Ramsey.

Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Judy & Boots Ramsey of Farmerville, Joan & Fred Bonner of Florence, Ms., Martha & Sam Petrus of Bastrop, Wayne & Brenda Ricks of Bastrop, and Debbie & Dana Dalbey of Dayton, Tx.; one brother, W.L. Parks & Donna of Kansas City, Ks.; two sisters, Faye Knight of Greenwood, Ms. and Louise Parks of Zachary, La.; sixteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and other relatives.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, August 28th at the church.
