A funeral service for Mrs. Vera Letsy Everett, age 84 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Farmerville Church of Christ. Tommy Bennett will be officiating and Billy Anderson will be leading the music. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Spearsville, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vera was a 1957 graduate of Spearsville High School. She graduated as Salutatorian and earned All Dual State along with many other honors in Basketball. Mrs. Vera was co-owner and office manager of the Everett Enterprises. Many remember her as their favorite Sunday School Teacher. She was a caring, loving mother, wife, and sister.

Mrs. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Bynum Risinger, Sr. and Vera Hollis Risinger; and her in laws, Melvin and Aletha Everett.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Colvin Everett; her son, Kent Everett; brother, Arthur Bynum Risinger, Jr.; three sisters, Shirley Stinson (Randy) Jean Futch, and Janice Levinge; sister in laws, Remona Hudson; and brother in laws, Danny Everett (Marcie) and Aldon Everett (Eloice).

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Farmerville Church of Christ.
