Funeral services for Mrs. V. Jean Cole, age 77 of Marion, LA. will be held at 2:00 PM. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bill Smith will be officiating.

Mrs. Cole loved to sew and help people. She was always willing to lend a hand when she could. Mrs. Cole was a retired school bus driver from Union Parish School System for 18 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Marion, LA.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents, Claiborne and Minnie Brown Bogue; her husband, Boyd Cole; and son, John Leroy Cole.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patty Cole Dodd and husband Mark and Rita Harred and husband Kevin; four granddaughters, Ashley Rottler, Kori Cochrane, Abby Carpenter, and Sadie Carpenter; five great grandchildren, Emily, Mattie Ann, Ruby, Deriana, and Kennidi; special daughter, Cheryl Green; and her special companion, Billy Ray White.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM, prior to the service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
