Funeral services for Troy Gene Pridgen, 54, of Marion will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Marion with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Interment will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery, near Strong, Ar., under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Troy went to his heavenly home on March 13, 2020. Troy was a pure hearted servant of God and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Marion. He was employed by ConAgra for over 10 years in the utility and maintenance departments. You could find Troy at every church event, from funerals of church members, friends and family to VBS and regular church activities. Troy was also known for passing out memorial folders at funerals and working the front door. Troy would let you know when your inspection sticker and license plates were due and many will miss him for that. Troy will be dearly missed and often remembered.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Gene & Fae Pridgen; uncle and aunt, James & Betty Pridgen; uncle, Carl Pridgen; maternal grandparents, Levi & Sarah Elizabeth Crowell; and paternal grandparents, Colvin & Nellie Pridgen.
Left to cherish his memory are his uncle & aunt Bill & Gloria Crowell; aunt, Linda Pridgen; cousins, James Pridgen, Jr. & wife, Donna, Theresse Pridgen Ball & husband, Darren, Keith Pridgen and Amy Pridgen Thomason & husband, Chris; and a host of other family members and special friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Miller, Dicky Miller, Casey Towns, Chad Towns, Wes Franklin, John Green, Andy Jones and Erik Redd.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of First Baptist Church of Marion.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Marion.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Marion and Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Ar.
