Troy Adron
Hart, Sr.
Jul 13, 1949 — Jul 7, 2024
Farmerville
Funeral services for Mr. Troy Adron Hart, Sr., age 74 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA with Bro. Adam Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at McCormick Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Troy was born July 13, 1949 and passed away July 7, 2024. He married Charlotte Moss Hart on August 28, 1971, and continued to love her until his passing. Troy began painting in 1977 with a passion, to support his family. In 1980, he began his own "Troy Hart Painting" business as a paint contractor. While growing his business, Troy had a fierce passion for archery, fishing, and hunting. Troy was a devoted Christian and had been attending Franklin Street Baptist Church since 1994, later becoming a deacon in 1995. He became very well known for his strong moral character and integrity, as well as his unquestionable patriotism. Troy always made lasting friends everywhere he went, whether through his hobbies, career, or faith. Above all, he was a caring father to all his children, and an even more loving grandfather (sometimes referred to as 'pop-pop').
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Miron Morris and Lessie Mae Lingenfelter Hart; his son, Adron Hart; his grandson, Luke Johnston; brothers and half-brothers, Alvin Hart, Chuck Steed, Leroy Steed, and Preston Hart; and his half-sisters, Betty Lou Hart, Opal Lubas, and Joan Prange.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Moss Hart; two daughters, Jennifer Johnston (Mark) and Jessica Bradford (Jake); daughter in law, Renee Hart; grandchildren, Tyler Hart, Brooke Hart, Blake Hart (Hailey), Elise Johnston, Sophie Johnston, Lexi Navarro, Lucas Johnston, Jett Bradford, and Auden Bradford; great grandson, Atlas Grey Hart; and his brother, Wayne Hart (Loretta).
Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Smith, Brandon Patrick, Jake Bradford, Joey Smith, Chris Pipes, and Blake Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Moss, Kevin Norrell, Junior Johnston, and Wayne Hart.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2024, prior to the service, at Franklin Street Baptist Church.
