Funeral services for Travis Dale Pilgreen, 55, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Reeves and Ouachita Parish Fire Department Chaplain Matecki Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty cemetery, near Linville, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Pilgreen went to his heavenly home on November 19, 2018. Travis was a lifelong resident of Union Parish and was a member of Dean Baptist Church. Travis served as a Communications Officer for Ouachita Parish Fire Department for the past 13 years. He also served as a volunteer Fireman for Marion Fire Department since the age of 18. His famous saying was "I never grew up, because I always played with tractors and firetrucks." He loved spending time with his loving wife, his children and grandchild.

Mr. Pilgreen was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn & Joyce Ramsey Pilgreen.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Angie Ray Pilgreen of Marion, La.; two sons, Jeffrey Pilgreen of Marion, La. and Christopher Pilgreen (Misty) of LeBannon, Mo.; two daughters, Stephanie Corbin (Blake) of West Monroe, La. and Raeann Pilgreen (Skylar Hicks) of Marion, La.; two brothers, Allen Pilgreen and Wayne Pilgreen, both of Marion, La.; one special grandson, Chance; and a host of other family and friends.

The Ouachita Parish Fire Department Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Ray, Chris Ray, Bonnie Russell, Stacey Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell and Kenneth Franklin.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
