A memorial service for Mr. Timothy Grant Hammons, age 56 of Choudrant, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Downsville Methodist Church with Rev. Hank Hamilton officiating. There will be a visitation after the service.

Timothy graduated from Downsville High School and was a member of Downsville Methodist Church, where his mother played the organ for many years. At the time of his death, he was employed by Ingersol-Rand in Monroe, LA. Timothy loved hunting, fishing, working in his yard, gardening, and raising his chickens. Timothy especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents: Johnny Cleve Hammons, Virginia Ballard Hammons; and his brother: Jerry Franklin Hammons.

He is survived by his wife: Du Meyian; two brothers: Johnny Keith Hammons , wife You Fu Hua, and Kenneth Cleveland Hammons, wife Nanette, sister in law Donna McFarlan and husband Tommy., nephew Joshua Hammons and wife Emily from Choudrant, LA, niece Brittany Tygart and husband CJ from Choudrant, LA, nephew Joey Hammons and niece Debin Hammons from Florida. Also several other great nephews and nieces.
