Funeral services for Tennie Bearden Kyle, age 93 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. John Rushing officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Tennie loved to travel West with her husband, mainly to Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. She made the best coconut cake and chicken and dressing which she always made for her family for holidays.  Tennie loved working in her flower beds and could make anything grow.  She had a strong faith in God, loved her family and church family.

Tennie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Leona Daniels Bearden; daughter, Sandra Kyle; and sisters, Mary Lean Bearden, Jettie Frasier, and Betty Franklin.

She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Dennis T. Kyle; daughter, Dianne Ford; son, Dennis Alan Kyle (Carol); five grandchildren, Greg Morrison (Kristi), Abby Ford, Phillip Kyle (Amy), Lindsey Kyle, and Haley Dorsey (Peter); four great grandchildren, Mia Nichols, Allison Morrison, Harley Kyle, and Ivy Martin; two brothers, Lester Bearden (Patsy) and Stein Bearden; and many friends and other family members.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Giddens, Billy Hunt, Phillip Kyle, Casey Martin, Howell Ford, and Peter Dorsey.

The family would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice, Arbor Laker Nursing Home, and Dr. Steven Venters for the loving care they showed Tennie.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, prior to the service, at Sardis Baptist Church, Friday, February 6, 2026.
