Funeral services for Sylvia Jean Caldwell, 54, of Marion will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Bro. Bengy McCann officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in El Dorado, AR at 3:30pm under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. (There will be no procession to the cemetery).

Mrs. Caldwell, a Phlebotomist, went to her heavenly home July 4, 2016. She was a lifelong native of Marion, LA and a member of First Baptist Church of Marion. Sylvia enjoyed making crafts of all kind, and was especially talented with flowers and wood. Sylvia was loved very much by her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Erwin Glover; daughter, Jennifer Diane Smith; and grandparents: Arthur & Ophelia Platt and Ruth Glover.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Clara Platt Perkins & Fennie of Farmerville; 2 sons: Bradley Adam Smith & wife, Heather Diane of Farmerville and Charlie Smith & wife, Kimberly Dawn of Pineville; 1 brother, Joel Perkins & wife, Teresa of St. Louis; 2 grandsons: Bryson & Caleb; 1 granddaughter, Paige; 2 nephews: Matthew & Joshua; several aunts, uncles and other relatives and numerous friends. She is also survived by her special friend, Timothy Ward.

Pallbearers will be John Skeeles, Jordan Skeeles, Gary Greene, Robert Lemoine, Lionel Canales and Henry Osborne.

Visitation is 11:00am until time of service Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home.
