A memorial service for Ms. Sybil R. Taylor, age 72 of Marion, LA, will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 22, 2025 at Liberty Baptist Church in Linville, LA, with Jay McCallum officiating.

Sybil was a graduate of Linville High School. Most of her life she worked as a front desk clerk and cashier at many hotels and convenience stores. Sybil loved to embroid and cook. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Linville, and was an avid reader and jigsaw puzzle worker.

Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, P. B. Reppond and Delsie Pilgreen Slater; stepfather, Donald Slater; husband, Luther Taylor; sisters, Sandy Buddin and Wanda Faye Reppond; and brothers, Jackie Slater and Thomas Reppond.

She is survived by her five sisters, Marsha Collins, Liz Reppond, Sue Phillips, Carolyn Crane (Bill), and Amy Chisholm; her brother, Sam Slater; and special friend, Terry Platt.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, prior to the service, starting at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 22, 2025 at Liberty Baptist Church in Linville.
