A celebration of life for Susan Jennings Sproull Ewing, 67, will be held August 8 at 6:00 p.m., at Crestview Baptist Church in Farmerville, La, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Susan Jennings Sproull Ewing was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Shreveport, La before moving to Farmerville in 2009. Mrs. Susan loved dogs and she loved her church family at Crestview Baptist Church. She also served as the church clerk for several years. Mrs. Susan had a distinctive voice and once you heard it, you never forgot it. Her family said they could locate her in a crowd by listening for her voice. She loved to volunteer and help others; she was also fond of volunteering her husband for various events as well.

Mrs. Ewing is preceded in death by her parents; Melvin and Helen Sproull.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years; David Ewing, her son; Clint Ewing and wife Audrey, grandchildren; Lemley Grace, Helen, and John Ewing, aunt; Flo Baremore, uncle; George Sproull, special friend; Renee Haulcy, and numerous other friends and acquaintances.
