Stephanie Ann Weikal entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2017 in Bernice, Louisiana. She was born in Sharon, PA on November 6, 1951. Stephanie was the daughter of Paul Botos and Frances Franek Botos of Hermitage. Stephanie married Marvin Weikal on June 8, 1974.

She graduated from Kennedy Christian High School in 1969; from Pennsylvania State University (BS in Ed) in 1973, and received her Michigan ZA endorsement (Elementary Ed) from Michigan State University in 1991. Stephanie was a teacher and taught in several elementary schools in Sharon, Greensburg Indiana, and Port Huron Michigan. She also was an educator at the Work First program in Port Huron, Michigan for several years. She was of the Catholic faith.

Stephanie moved to Sulphur, LA in 2009 and resided there until 2016 when she entered a medical care facility in Bernice, LA. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Miller, Lisa's father Marvin, and grandchildren Mathew and Madison, all of Sulphur. She will be sadly missed by her family, good friend Louise, and Rocky, the family schnauzer.

The family thanks the caregivers of Bernice Rehab and Nursing, and from Home Instead in Lake Charles, LA for their help and kindness.

Stephanie's arrangements were under the care of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana. There will be no funeral service. Donations in her memory may be made to her favorite charity, the American Heart Association.
