Funeral services for Sonya Lea Nyegaard, 57, of Farmerville will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill-Taylor cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Nyegaard went to her heavenly home on January 17, 2019. Sonya loved painting ceramics and statues. She also enjoyed doing yard work and she took great pride in a kept up yard. Sonya loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her pets and livestock.

Mrs. Nyegaard was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Allen; grandmother, Bennie Rae Ford; and brother, Joe Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Frederick L. Nyegaard; two sons, Elvis Nyegaard and Bengaman Nyegaard; father, D.K. Allen; brother, Dallas Allen; granddaughter, Brooklyn Nyegaard; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 8:30am until time of service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
