Funeral services for Sharon Gail Roberson, age 71 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Farmerville First Assembly with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Sharon's life was a reflection of warmth, resilience, and love for life's simple joys. Those who knew Sharon will remember her for her easy smile and generous heart. She found joy in the everyday moments —sipping coffee in the early morning quiet, reading her devotional, kayaking on Lake D'arbonne or spending time with family. Her home was a welcoming place, filled with laughter, delicious meals, and the comforting sense of care she poured into every corner. Sharon, married to Willy for 33 years, loved her husband with a deep, steady devotion built on trust, respect, and shared memories. Through every season of life, her love remained constant — quiet in its strength, unwavering in its loyalty, and rich with gratitude for the life they built together. She was a woman whose life was defined by love. She devoted herself to her children, guiding them with patience, strength, and kindness, and later poured that same love into her grandchildren and great grand children. To them, she was a steady presence—always listening, always caring, and always there. Her legacy lived on in the values she taught and the deep bonds she nurtured carried forward through family she loved so completely.

Sharon Roberson worked as a life insurance professional with Transamerica for the past 10 years. During her decade-long career with Transamerica, Sharon was a multi-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a perennial leader within the company. She qualified for Transamerica's Leaders Conference multiple times and, at the time of her passing, was ranked number 17 in the company. Sharon also qualified for Transamerica's Alaskan Cruise and once again earned qualification for the Million Dollar Round Table meeting, which will be held in Anaheim, California, next June. Million Dollar Round Table qualifiers represent the top 2% of life insurance professionals worldwide. Sharon often said that it was both a privilege and an honor to serve her clients as they experienced each chapter of life. She worked tirelessly every day to ensure her clients were taken care of, always going the extra mile. She frequently asked her boss Drew Prince to promise her that if anything ever happened to her, he would take care of her clients. Sharon wanted to be certain they would remain protected for generations to come. After graduating from Farmerville High School in 1972 and prior to joining Transamerica, Sharon spent over 35 years in the banking industry. She began her career as a teller and advanced to the role of Vice President, a testament to her dedication, leadership, and work ethic. A firm believer in community involvement and leading by example, Sharon served on the boards of the Union Parish Chamber of Commerce, the Morehouse Chamber of Commerce, and the American Cancer Society of Louisiana. Her impact extended far beyond her profession, touching countless lives through both her service and her character.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Willy Roberson; son, William Cody Roberson daughter, Selena Lowery; her parents, M.O. Porter and Myrtle Nettie Hamby; grandchildren, BreAnna Gail Lowery, Jayde Ates (Daniel), Kaitlyn Roberson, Elizabeth Lowery, Olivia Roberson, and Abigail Roberson; four great grandchildren, Remington Adkins, Emmory Miller, Walker Wheeler, and Rylynn Ates; brother, Bobby Porter (Tammy); and two sisters, Margie Stacy (Eddie) and Beverly Froman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lon Roberson, Andrew Roberson, Tray Roberson, Lucas Roberson, David Batterton, and Gabe Roberson.

Visitation will be held at 12:30, prior to the service, Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Farmerville First Assembly.
