A funeral service for Shannon Rose Smith, 31, of Spearsville, La., will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Rick Walters officiating the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Bernice, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Shannon passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed crafting, hunting, and she loved animals of all sorts. She also loved mud riding and trail riding on ATVs. Shannon was loved by many and will be deeply and dearly missed.

Shannon is preceded in death by: her daughter, Aubree Nikkole Smith; her brother-in-law, Joseph Smith; her grandparents, great-grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include: her husband, Johnny Smith; her children, Ava and Mason Smith; parents, Jason and Rosanna Thompson; grandmother, Evelyn Parker; siblings, Jessie Miller, Michelle Faust, Marie Thompson, Jason Thompson, Jr., Micaela Anaya, Destany Pierce, Celeste Pierce and Joseph Thompson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.D. and Gail Smith; brother-in-law, Jimmy Smith, Jr. (Stephanie); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Stephen Cross, Byron Pace, Javen Cottrell, Nick Miller, Jordan Cottrell and Andrew Pierce.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.
