Graveside services for Ruth Evelyn Harris Hollis, 92, of Arcadia will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at Mt. Union cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Hollis went to her heavenly home on February 6, 2020. Mrs. Hollis was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church. She loved her family and she enjoyed cooking, gardening and keeping up with her flower beds. Mrs. Hollis spent many happy hours fishing in the farm pond with her husband and grandkids.

Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by her husband, Addison O. Hollis, Jr.; and parents, Bill & Idel Harris.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Sharon Hollis Simmons, Brent Hollis (Judy) and Steve Hollis (Sara); five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edna Joyce Pouncey, Mary Ann Elkins and Floy Crosslin; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
