Funeral services for Ruby Henderson will be held Saturday, August 6,2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch Church of Christ in Spearsville, La, with Brother Tommy Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church of Christ cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Ruby Lee Hollis Henderson was born July 27, 1930, in the Laran community located to the east of Spearsville. Her parents were Tillie Nelson Hollis and Addison O. Hollis. Mrs. Ruby passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Ruby was a dear friend to many and spent her life caring for those around her.

Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Risinger Henderson, her parents, sister; Ann Ball, and brothers; R.B. Hollis, Jack Hollis, Kenneth Hollis, and Addison Hollis, Jr.

She is survived by her son; Dr. Randal Henderson and wife Jean of Jacksonville, Fl., her grandsons; Carl and wife Alisha Henderson of Denver, Co. and Nathan Henderson and wife Lauren of Wilmington, Nc., sister; Doris and brother in law Billy Henderson of Ruston, La. She is remembered and loved by many nieces and nephews and their families.
