Roy Gene Ebarb,Sr.

Funeral services for Roy Gene Ebarb, Sr., age 90 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Conway Baptist Church with Bro. Will Englerth officiating. Interment will follow at Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Roy, born in Ebarb, started a strong work ethic at a young age and always worked hard. He worked in logging and lumber as a dozier operator but could run all the equipment. He was an active member of Conway Baptist Church and believed in raising his family in the church. Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed being outside.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Monice Phelps Ebarb; parents, Albert and Francis Knight Ebarb; grandson, Kendall Ebarb; five brothers; and six sisters.

He is survived by his four sons, Roy Gene Ebarb, Jr. (Merle-Bing Pusing); Kenneth Dale Ebarb (Flo), Mike Ebarb (Lisa), and Steve Ebarb; grandchildren, Jessica Ebarb Shirey (Justin), Jennifer Ebarb, Jansen Ebarb (Curtis), Ronie Ebarb, Regan Ebarb, Kennan Ebarb Wesley (Dupree), Allen Ebarb (Alanna), Tara Ebarb, and Marina Ebarb; 18 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ayden Shirey, Adrian Aarona, Darrion Ebarb, Elijah Ebarb, Cameron Hill, and Allen Ebarb.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM, prior to the service, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Conway Baptist Church.
