Funeral services for Rowena Reppond Patterson, 77, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Downsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephanie Green officiating.  Interment will follow in Downsville City Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Patterson went to her heavenly home on December 23, 2020.  Mrs. Patterson was endearingly called "Tooler" by her family and "Ro" by the children that she kept.  Mrs. Rowena had a matter-of-fact, spunky personality.  She never met a stranger and when meeting you, even if she didn't know you, she had the ability to make a connection with you.  She was a captivating storyteller who loved to read.  Mrs. Patterson always took time to send out birthday cards or make phone calls to everyone in her circle.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, James Patterson; daughter, Robyn Marsh; parents, Burrough & I.V. Reppond; four brothers, B.L. Reppond, Ralph Reppond, Larry Reppond and Lewis Reppond; and one sister, Nina Henson.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Arnold Gene Reppond; sister, Betty Ann Bashrum; sister-in-law, Helen Schubert; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Rick Hammons, David Hammons, Brad Traylor, Robert Traylor, Adam Reppond and Hardin McCann.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kassie Johnson, Lisa Coleman and Megan Dearman.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Downsville United Methodist Church.
