Memorial services for Rosemary Bankston Fitzgerald of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home Farmerville.

Ms. Fitzgerald was born April 9, 1960 in Bastrop, LA and passed from this life on November 14, 2016 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 56 after losing her battle with lung cancer.

Rosemary graduated from Farmerville High School in 1978 and worked in various clerical positions after graduation. She enjoyed music, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. Rosemary was kind, loving and had a heart of gold. She met no strangers and had a smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Penn and Bobbie Bankston.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Nicole Fitzgerald; her fianc, Bo Thompson; one sister, Sheila Cook of Farmerville; one brother, Penn Bankston and his wife Pat of Farmerville; two nephews: Thomas Cook and Ted Bankston both of Farmerville; and a host of extended family and friends.
