Funeral services for Rose Helen Hill Hawkins, 94, of Farmerville will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Rose Helen Hill Hawkins was born in Monticello, Ar. on July 26, 1924 and passed from this world on September 8, 2018 at 94 years old. Rose was born to Grover Cleveland Hill & Maude Hill. At the age of 16, she met Sammie Joe Hawkins. The two were married on April 7, 1941. Together they had seven children.

Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sammie Joe Hawkins; one son, Sammie Joe Hawkins, Jr.; and parents, Grover Cleveland Hill & Maude Hill.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joyce Carpenter and Patricia Brown, of Mer Rouge, La., Cathie Hawkins of West Monroe, La., Darlene Edgar of Oklahoma, Carl Hawkins of Arkansas, and Lorie Aulds of Farmerville, La.; Rose also raised two granddaughters, Mary Jenkins of Texas and Brandy Brewer of Cabot, Ar.; sister, Shirley Brown of Arkansas; numerous grand, great, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other friends and family.

Rose Helen has now passed from this life in body, but her spirit and memory will live on in the hearts and mind of those that loved her.

As we grieve her passing, we shall be reminded of Revelations 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying of pain. Rose Helen is no longer in pain, but residing in the House of Our Lord and Savior.
