A graveside service for Mr. Ronnie Williams, age 80 of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard and Bro. Mike Devillier officiating.

Mr. Ronnie attended Union Parish Schools and started farming early in his life with his dad. He then began to work with Houston Contractors as a heavy equipment operator on the pipeline. In 1971, he began working with the Union Parish Police Jury after he retired from Operator and Superintendent in construction. Mr. Ronnie loved gardening and he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son. He was known as Dog Hunter in our community. Mr. Ronnie loved his family and loved to work, which made him happy.

Mr. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents: Nash and Gladys Ramsey Williams; three grandchildren: Sarah Lindsey Williams, Randi Layne Williams, and Shayne Williams; great grandchild: infant child Womack; three brothers: Roy Williams, John Williams, and Ray Williams; and sister: Kay Wade.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Betty Williams; son: Randy Williams (Tammy); daughter: Abby Williams; two grandchildren: Savannah Womack (Jeremy) and Chloie May (Jacob); two step grandchildren: Josh Harris (Leah) and Kristin Harris; four great grandchildren: Anna Grace Womack, Joshua Womack, Carter Allen, and Ruthie May; five step great grandchildren: Hunter, Harper, and Henry Harris, Riley Gaar, and Noah Patterson; sister: Mary Faye Holloway (John); and brother: J.N. Williams (Karen).
