Memorial services for Ronnie J. Walsworth, 73, of Downsville, La., will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Downsville Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Miller officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Walsworth went to his heavenly home on January 6, 2021.  He was a member of Downsville Baptist Church and retired from Atmos Energy after 40 ½ years.  Ronnie enjoyed bass fishing but his passion was coaching boys and girls in baseball and softball throughout his life.  His grandchildren were very important to him and he participated in all of their activities.  Mr. Ronnie had the gift of gab and he could put a smile on the faces of anyone he met.

Mr. Walsworth was preceded in death by his parents, R.V. & Margaret Walsworth.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Anita Brymer Walsworth; two sons, Garrick Walsworth & wife, Michele and Josh Walsworth & wife, Susan; one daughter, Sarah Walsworth; four grandchildren, Jordan Walsworth, Carter Walsworth, Tanner Walsworth and Chelsea Walsworth; one brother, Gary Walsworth & wife, Martha; special friend and fishing partner, Randy Harvey; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Downsville Baptist Church.
