A graveside service for Ronald Ray Williams, 77, of Bernice, La. will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice, La. with Rev. Steve Barrett and Bro. Jeff Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice, La. prior to the graveside service.

Ronald Ray Williams was born January 24, 1945 and passed away on March 8, 2022. Ronald had a servant's heart, always willing to help others. He was a very quiet, reserved man, and was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bernice, La. He and his wife, Renee, were very active in church events and never missed gatherings and singings. Ronald loved to travel, especially to the Ozarks and the hills of Arkansas. He worked at Ludlow for many years and eventually retired from there. Ronald was loved by many and he will be dearly missed.

Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Sophia Renee Williams; parents, Lewis and Louise Williams; brother, Eugene Williams; and sister-in-law, Ann Smith Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his nephews, Gary Williams (Karla) and Alan Williams (Tracy); niece, Candace Barr (Robbie); along with other numerous family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Alpine Rehabilitation Center and Allegiance Hospice for their loving care.
