Funeral services for Robbie Stripling, of Haile, La. will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Linville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Robbie Stripling, 49, went to his heavenly home July 11, 2017. Robbie enjoyed working with his hands. He was a good mechanic, had an artistic side and loved working with wood, making both wood carvings and wood burning pieces. Robbie enjoyed a good laugh, was a jokester and a prankster. Sitting and talking about hunting and fishing with friends and family brought him joy. He will be missed greatly by his little dog, BJ.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gaston and Esther Decker of Redford, Mich., and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Yvonne Stripling of Haile, La., and numerous aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Robert and Linda Stripling; one sister: Angela Dumestre and her husband Buzzy.

Visitation is 5-7 PM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home.
