Robert Sean
"Peewee" Jester
d. May 3, 2017
Graveside services for Robert Sean "PeeWee" Jester, 51, of Laran will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Laran cemetery with Bro. Buddy Boatright officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Sean was born on Castle Air Force Base in Merced, Ca. on December 2, 1965 to Bobby & Barbara Bryant Jester and was the youngest son of four children. He passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2017.
As a young boy, he loved being in the woods and working alongside his dad tearing down and rebuilding small engines. He often followed the footsteps of others, sometimes not heading down the right path.
Sean attended Spearsville High School making friendships that lasted til the end of his years. Sean was a carpenter by trade and he prided his sheet rocking skills as artwork. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting and would often work in the garden for hours and was so proud of seeing the fruits of his labor.
Sean lived life to the fullest. He was a good hearted person always willing to lend a helping hand, despite his ailing physical health. He was a high spirited soul and wore a smile, was cracking jokes or pulling pranks on someone.
He was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He took pride in keeping the church house clean and flowering bushes and shrubs trimmed. He loved music of all kinds.
Sean was preceded in death by his father, Bobby W. Jester; paternal grandparents, Walter & Maggie Jester of Texarkana, Tx.; maternal grandparents, J.C. & Vinola Bryant of Laran, La.; and an infant son, Derek Sean.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Barbara Jester; two brothers, Kevin Jester and Brian Jester and wife, Karen Jester all of Laran, La.; one sister, Kecia Riddle and husband, Scott of Chuckey, Tn.; daughter, Tara Jester of Strong, Ar.; two sons, Ethan Jester of Ruston, La. and Michael Jester of Elizabethton, Tn.; three grandchildren, Kadence, Ava and Libby; several special nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Missy Strickland of Johnson City, Tn.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 6-8pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Laran.
