Funeral services for Robbie J. Alford, 82, of Conway, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Orten officiating.  Interment will follow in Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Alford passed away on December 14, 2020 in Farmerville, La.  Mrs. Robbie was a lifelong member of Conway Church of Christ.  She taught school in Union Parish and Union County for 51 years.  Mrs. Robbie was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was an excellent cook.  She taught piano for many years and had a beautiful singing voice.

Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents, Elton & Lola V. Johnson; and sister, Lona Gay Albritton.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Larry Alford; two sons, Shane Alford and Al Alford (Cristy); two granddaughters, Shana Alford (Michael) and Ashlee Jennings (Blake); three step-grandchildren, Macie Hunt, Katelyn Farmer and Kyle McMahen; four great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Skylar, Nash and Olivia; one sister, Peggy Orten; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Todd Alford, Brian Alford, Michael Ginn, Blake Jennings, Nathan Futch, Benoit Holloway, Jr., Vernon Sharp, Gary Tubbs and Elvin Futch.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.

The family asked that everyone attending the visitation, funeral service or graveside service, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
