Funeral services for Mrs. Rita Gay Nolan, age 79 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Rita was an outdoors person. She loved to hunt, fish, ride horses and play softball in her younger days. Her favorite thing was watching and spending time with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her world and no matter how Rita felt that day, she would be there to enjoy whatever the kids were doing.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Nolan; parents: Hardy Sullivan, Sr. and Birdie Bryan Sullivan; four sisters: Chrystal Jean Sullivan, Ella Mae McBroom; Marie Hicks, and Maudie Davis; and two brothers: Hardy Sullivan, Jr. and LaVelle Sullivan.

She is survived by her son: Arliss Nolan and wife Ashley; grandchildren: Cody Nolan, Alex Nolan Kindrix (Aaron), Taylor Nolan, and Hunter Nolan; six great grandchildren: Addison, Madelyn, Peyton, Landon, Cooper, and Reese; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Nolan, Hunter Nolan, Cade Nolan, Wesley Sims, Brent Hicks, and Charles Hicks.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
