A memorial service for Ricky Slayton, 60, of Marion will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 3732 Highway 549  Marion, La.  71260 with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Slayton passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.  Ricky was a singer, songwriter, and musician, playing the Harmonica and Guitar.  He was a member Conway Baptist Church.  He loved to deer hunt and ride his Harley.

Mr. Slayton was preceded in death by his parents, Liston and Joan West Lowery; sister, Diane Petri; brothers, James Gray, Alston Gray and Patrick Gray; and granddaughter, Miah Bailey.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Johanna Howe (John), Elizabeth Foster (Scott), Sarah Slayton, Ivette Bailey (Matthew) and Arianna Slayton; sons, David Corona (Tina), Frank Aguayo (Jackie) and Eddie Aguayo (Lorena); twenty seven grandchildren; brothers, Robert Andrew Slayton, Jr., Robert Slayton (Judy), David Lowery (Debbie) and Barry Lockwood (Cherry); sister, Sandra Guitterez (Rudy); and a host of other family and friends.
