Funeral services for Ricky Lee Beaird, 63, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church near Spearsville with Pastor Glenn Neimeyer and Pat Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Ricky was born on November 25, 1953 in Bernice, La. He worked in the oilfield and drove trucks for many years. He enjoyed riding horses and antique cars. He was a proud owner of a '87 El Camino Hot Rod.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Odis & Agnes Beaird of Spearsville.

He is survived by his daughters, Casey Beaird Colvin & husband, Devlin of Spearsville and Sierra Beaird of Spearsville; one son, Jeremy Winter; two sisters, Elizabeth Garris & husband, C.C. of Farmerville and Brenda Griffith & husband, Jess of Haughton; two granddaughters, Billie Beaird and Willow Beaird; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Cornelius Heard, Roy "Chip" Payne, Ben Barnes, Mark Bearden, Steve Bodine and Jessie Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Williams, Pepper Green, Jeremy Winter, James Smith and Casey Woods.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville. The family will also receive friends and family from 11:30am -1:00pm before the service.
