Rhonda Carol Methvin

A memorial service for Rhonda Carol Methvin, age 59 of Spearsville, LA, will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Ramsey officiating.

Rhonda was born in Lilbourn, MO and graduated from Portageville High School. She spent most of her life in Central Arkansas and moved to Union Parish in 2002. Rhonda loved country music, playing Yahtzee and Bingo, drinking coffee with her sister Pam and daughter Lindsay, and spending time her family. Her proudest title was being “Nannie” to her grandson Jaxon.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Copeland and Bonita Simspon; three sisters, Ann McCarty, Jeannie Simpson, and Carolyn Strange; and four brothers, Johnny, Mike, Tony, and Bob Simpson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Reva Banks and Lindsay Parker; grandson, Jaxon Smith; sister, Pamela Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 Pm, prior to the service, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home.
