Funeral services for Ms. Rebecca Roper, age 76 of Farmerville, La will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.

Becky Roper was born in Columbia, MS on February 22, 1947, to Tom and Mabel Roper where she grew up, and later relocated to northeast Louisiana. On October 5, 2023, she met her Lord and Savior face to face surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind daughters Mandi Turner and Angela Chitwood. Grandchildren Blace Hamilton, Carley Carter and husband Alex Carter, children Ace, and Shelby. Brandon Main, wife April, and children Logan and Braylnn.  Dakota Parker, husband Jayme, and Kimberly. Whitney Main Allen, husband Cody Allen and children Cayden Perkins, Micah Allen, and Carmen Perkins. Greta Rose her best friend who she loved like a daughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents Tom Roper, Mapel Roper, brothers Robert and Tommy Roper, and Mickey Turner her son in law.

Becky spent most of her time as a homemaker devoted to her children and grandchildren. She also worked as a Dental assistant, and housekeeper. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She was "Grammy" to not only her grandchildren, but every person that needed a grandmother's love. She enjoyed reading and taking care of any animals in need of care. She loved cooking for everyone and shopping. She was always there when any one of her children or grandchildren needed anything. Becky loved her family, friends, and pets in a way that will never be forgotten.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and devoted so much of her time in spreading the gospel to not only her family, but also to anyone she could about the love of Christ.

Serving as pallbearers will be Will Gunter, Bryan Perkins, Lyn Kenly, Tim Stokes, Brandon Broussard, and Chris Snell. Honorary pallbearer will be Stephen Cross.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home.
