Funeral services for Raymond E. Mosley, Sr., 70, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Larry White officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Linville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Mosley went to his heavenly home on February 4, 2018. Raymond was retired from the oil, gas and pipeline industry, working with Mid Louisiana Gas/Enervest Operations as a compression mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to garden, fish and hunt. And, enjoyed passing on his tradition of hunting to others.

Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his parents, C. Potts Mosley & Inez Brown; three brothers, Jerry Shadic, Johnny Shadic and Cecil Shadic.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Raymond Mosley & wife, Carol of Monticello, Ar.; step-son, Brandon Dixon & wife, Meghan of Linville, La.; daughter, Amie Barron & husband, Joe of Spearsville, La.; step-daughter, Sara Broussard & husband, Ryan of Linville, La.; two sisters, Evelyn Mosley of Linville, La. and Ann Brantley & husband, Jerry of Dean, La.; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Virgil Brantley, Steve Thurston, Mike Thurston, Ryan Broussard, DeWain Flowers and Lanny Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Traylor and Buster Maxey.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm 7:00pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
