Memorial services for John Randall 'Randy' Hutson will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1 pm at Calhoun Church of Christ in Calhoun. Randy was born November 8, 1955 in Monroe, La and passed away February 17, 2017 in Houston, Texas after a sudden illness.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, John L Hutson, Jr. and Viola Walls Hutson.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Kristin Bryan and husband Craig and grandson Oliver Bryan, all of Choudrant, La.; his sisters Lori Hutson of Baton Rouge, Brenda Adkins and husband Blaine, and Judy Poole and husband Donald, all of West Monroe; his Aunt Hazel Centanni of West Monroe and Uncle Jim Walls and wife Kay of Houston, Tx and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Randy is also survived by special friends Nellie Littleton and Mike Stennett.

Randy graduated from Calhoun High School in 1973 and Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Forestry. He worked in the pipeline construction industry as a Safety Engineer, Land Manager, and Project Supervisor. He enjoyed learning and had many hobbies including genealogy, photography and especially cooking for his friends.

As Randy's remains were cremated, the family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials for Randy be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children, the Humane Society, World Radio PO Box 35081 West Monroe, La 71294, or the charity of your choice. The family is grateful for all the outpouring of concern and sympathy from Randy's many wonderful friends.
