Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Nell Saunders Allbritton, age 90 of Spearsville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Tommy Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Spearsville, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Peggy was a graduate at Spearsville High School and attended Hardin University. She resided in Dallas, Texas for many years and worked for Alford Warehouse of Texas. After returning to Ruston, LA, Peggy sold insurance for Jake Spears Funeral Home. She loved to dance and care for her family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents: James E. Saunders and Lois Hollis Saunders Heard; two brothers: James T. and John Saunders; and her sister: Frances Cumins.

She is survived by her husband: Harold L. Allbritton; sisters: Ruth S. DeVoll of Mesquite, TX and Sue Nugent of Winnsboro, LA; stepdaughter: Alecia Plummer (Donald); stepsons: Richard A. Allbritton and Paul Allbritton (Sherrie); 10 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Saunders, Donavan Saunders, Jim Nugent, John Nugent, Steven DeVoll, and James DeVoll, with honorary pallbearers Richard Allbritton and Paul Allbritton.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, starting at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
