A funeral service for Paul Edward Beaird, 79, of Spearsville, La., will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Bill Styron and Bro. Stan Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in Spearsville City Cemetery in Spearsville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.

Paul Edward Beaird was born August 23, 1942 and passed away February 12, 2022. Mr. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his wife, Evelyn, very much, as she loved him. Paul was a lifelong resident of Spearsville, La. Early in his life, he worked at Polaron Industry in Ruston, La. He was co-owner of Union Auto and NAPA in Farmerville, La. for over 16 years. He also raised cattle and poultry during this time. Paul was a faithful member and deacon of Liberty Baptist Church in Spearsville, La. and loved his church family very much. He was Christlike through his service to others.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Delta Odom Beaird.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn Thomas Beaird; two daughters, Paula Jimmerson (Bill) and Cheryl Beaird; sister, Melba Dean Beaird; grandchildren, Jessica Brown McClung (Jake), Tyler Jimmerson, Drew Jimmerson, Adeline Booth, and Tanner Booth; along with numerous family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bill Jimmerson, Tyler Jimmerson, Drew Jimmerson, Tanner Booth, Ricky Graham, and Ricky Elkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Hez Elkins and Elvin Graham.
