A funeral service for Mrs. Patricia "Sugar" Brantley-Savage, 91, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Andy Allred officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, 12:30 to 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Patricia Brantley-Savage passed away on December 22, 2021. Mrs. Patricia, affectionately known as "Sugar" to her family, grew up in the Zion Hill community. She never met a stranger and she loved everyone. Patricia graduated from Farmerville High School in 1947 as valedictorian and she was a faithful member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was also the President of the WMU for over 40 years. She and her first husband, Doyle, enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Some of Mrs. Patricia's favorite hobbies consisted of sewing and cooking. She enjoyed sewing Raggedy Ann dolls, baby blankets, and clothes for her family and those throughout her community. Her favorite dishes to prepare were her chicken & dressing and her chicken & dumplings, and she has handed many recipes down to her family. Patricia was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband of 47 years, Doyle Brantley; parents, Oleta Odom and Carlton Phelps; step-father, Ondus Odom; her second husband, Charles Savage; brother, G.C. Phelps; sisters, Mary Alice Booth and Myrna Stokes; and son, Steve Brantley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Lanny Brantley (Melda); daughter, Paula Brantley Porter (Randy); daughter-in-law, Elaine Elam Brantley; grandchildren, Jody Brantley (Rena), Shana Brantley Sutton (Mark), Nathan Brantley, Frank Stokes (Kelly), Staci Yokum (Jeff), Justin Porter (Heather), Ashlie Hill (Chris), Tanya Baskin, Chad Brantley (Holly), Tiffany McConnell (Ryan), and Candace Fultz (Davin); thirty great-grandchildren; twenty-four great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chad Brantley, Justin Porter, Jeff Yokum, Jody Brantley, Tanner Brantley, and Tyler Brantley. Honorary pallbearers will be David Farrar, along with the deacons of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
