A funeral service for Mrs. Otto Bowen Mashaw, 81, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. Interment will follow in Enterprise Baptist Church Cemetery in Farmerville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La.

Mrs. Otto Mashaw passed away on November 30, 2021. Mrs. Mashaw was a loyal and trusting wife of 64 years. She was a loving grandmother, and was always concerned about her children, grandchild, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Otto always fulfilled those special promises throughout her life, and her home was always open to those in need. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Otto was preceded in death by: her parents, Hugh Thaxton and Maggie Inez Edwards Bowen; son, Max Randell Mashaw; sisters, Mary Maude Bowen, Glenda Kyle, and Betty Jean Gathright; and brothers, Roy Wayne Bowen, and Clark Venoy Bowen.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Bobby Gene Mashaw; son, Robert Mashaw (Debbie Reeves); daughter, Peggy D. Shumate (Mikel); sisters, Cherri Thomas (John McIntosh), and Tina Forbess; grandchild, Brandy Renee Garrett (William); and great-grandchildren, Bridget Renee Massey, and Brianna Shyanne Lively.
