Funeral services for Nena Nale Hendry, 70, of Truxno will be held at 3:00pm Monday, March 13, 2017 at Bird's Chapel Methodist Church in Truxno with Bro. Glyn Nale officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Nena passed away March 10, 2017 in Homer, LA. She was retired from Century Link. She loved to sew and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone she knew.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Hendry and her parents Dee Lee Nale and Madie Nale Hicks.

She is survived by one son, Nicholas Turner & wife, Samantha of Truxno, LA; one step-son Danny Hendry & wife, Staci of Winnsboro, LA; four grandchildren: Xander, Cason, Daniel, and Serria; four sisters: Bertie Abercrombie of Truxno, LA, Beth McDougal of Marion, LA, Flo Aycock & husband Benny of Junction City, AR and Imogene Green of Sterlington, LA; three brothers: Billy Nale & wife, Loretta of Leesville, LA, Dodson Nale & wife, Pam of Lawson, AR, and James Nale & wife, Karen of Collingston, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cavin Abercrombie, Stefan Green, Wes Aycock, Greg Aycock, Danny Hendry and Bradley Nale.

Visitation is 5-8pm Sunday, March 12th at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
