Funeral services for Milas "Sugar Boy" McKinnie, of Marion, will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Don Reeves and Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, near Sadie, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. McKinnie, 80, was retired from the oil field and went to his heavenly home June 28, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Rosie Brown McKinnie; five sisters, Bell Plummer, Oceall Ray, Myret Scarbrough, Audrey Baker and Fayree Day; three brothers, Joe Ollie McKinnie, Clause McKinnie and J.P. McKinnie; and one grandson, William Douglas Reeves.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Lila McKinnie; one step-son, Wayne Brantley; two step-daughters, Debra Skyles and Tina Hair; five grandchildren, Justin D. Neighbors & wife, Amanda, Chad Neighbors, Shelly Neighbors Desoto & husband, Matthew, Christie Harry & husband, Jim and Joshua B. Baker & wife, Ashley; five great grandchildren, Carly Neighbors, Kira Neighbors, Jessie Desoto, Samuel Desoto and Brennan Harry; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Richard Hinton, Billy George McKinnie, Sidney Ray, Roger Baker, George Baker and Virgil McKinnie.

Visitation is from 6:00pm -10:00pm, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Dean Baptist Church.
