A funeral service for Mr. Mickey Vann Turner, 81, will be held August 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, La. Interment will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Eldorado, Arkansas under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Mickey Vann Turner was a veteran of the Army National Guard where he served for four years. He  was a maintenance specialist with Exxon Production and Drilling, taking an early retirement to care for his parents. He joined the Farmerville Fire department where he served for over 29 years and was very dedicated to his service there. Mr. Mickey was employed with Farrar Funeral Home serving the families in our area. . He was a Christ like man and very giving to others. He was a member of the Baptist Faith, a very Christian man. Mr. Mickey was loyal, a man of character and was very honest. He loved his children, grandchildren and his wife very much.

Mickey is preceded in death by his parents Tom H. and Julia Mae Smith Turner

He is survived by his wife Amanda Turner, children; Brandon Main and wife April, Whitney Allen and husband Cody and Dakota Parker and husband Jayme, grandchildren; Carmen and Cayden Perkins, Mikah Allen, Logan Main, Braylyn Main and Kimberly Claire Parker.

Pallbearers will be Chris Snell, Billy Jung, Joe Booth, Kim Cranford, Daniel Kimbell and Robert Allen.
