Funeral services for Mayme Louise Ramsey, 91, of Laran will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church of Spearsville with Bro. Dewey Rhodes and Bro. John Mitcham officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Ms. Ramsey passed away on April 26, 2019. Ms. Louise was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Laran. During her lifetime, she was a bookkeeper working in Louisiana and Texas. She loved to sing and play gospel music. Ms. Ramsey will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Ms. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Grady & Deanna Herring Hillman; one son, Mark Allen Ramsey; one daughter, Judy Lynette Lewis; one granddaughter, Susan Garris; and one sister.

Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Barbara Jo Lambert, Valera Jean Harris (Randy), Brenda Joy Roddy (Dave) and Laurel Lee Palmer (Bill); two sons, David Bruce Ramsey and Stephen Russell Ramsey (Terri); fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m., Friday, May 4, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
