Funeral services for Maxine Kenly, 90, of Farmerville will be held at 11:00am, Monday, June 24, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kurt Auger and Bro. John Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Kenly was born on February 22, 1929 and went to her heavenly home on June 22, 2019. During her lifetime Mrs. Kenly was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Rural Letter Carrier, pizza maker, florist, gardener, a what-knot collector, cattleman, and an artist who painted pictures and porcelain. Mrs. Kenly was a devoted member of Farmerville First Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Granny, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren and younger generations around Farmerville, was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Fenie & Joe B. Redden; her husband, Gayle; brother-in-law, Keith Kenley; and one great-grandson, Jake Whitlock.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Gary Kenly & wife, Jean and Larry (Bubba) Kenly & wife, Penny; four grandchildren, Danny Kenly, Jennifer Whitlock & husband, Phillip, Linda White, & husband, Brannon, and Lori Smith & husband, Shane; six great-grandchildren, Garrett White, Tanner White, Kenly Smith, Brilee Smith, Clay Whitlock, Chance Whitlock and Cody Kenly; one sister-in-law, Emma Kenley; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brannon White, Garrett White, Shane Smith, Gabe Kenley, Danny Kenly and Cody Kenly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Whitlock and Clay Whitlock.

Visitation will be Monday, June 24, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
