Funeral services for Mrs. Maude B. Rogers, age 90 of Marion, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Dean Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Don Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Reppond cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Maude enjoyed hunting and fishing; she was quite the Tom Boy growing up. You might have even seen her on the back of a motorcycle or in her garden and tending to flower beds. Maude loved and knew so many people. She retired from Wal-Mart after many years of service and Dean Baptist Church was her church home.

Mrs. Maude is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years: Herbert Rogers, her parents Arthur and Gracie Manning Brantley, her brothers: William J. Brantley, Arthur Brantley, Jr., Joe Reese Brantley, LaVelle Brantley, Louis Brantley, and Carl Brantley, her sisters: Emma J. Desadier, and Glenda Johannesen.

She is survived by her sisters: Fro Banner and Pat Reid, her brother: Fate Brantley and wife Mary, her sister in law: Charlotte Brantley, special friends: Sheryal Tucker, Julia Holloway Wells, Faye Rogers, Ruth Morgan and Kenny Tucker.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Brantley, Chris Brantley, Stanley Brantley, Dwain Rogers, Tyrone McPherson, and Julia Holloway Wells.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Dean Baptist Church.
