Funeral services for Martha C. Brantley, 84, of Marion, La., will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.  Interment will follow at Dean Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Brantley passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.  Mrs. Martha's main job in life was raising her children to be adults that she could be proud of.  As time would allow, she would provide for her family by working at the Garment Factory in Bernice, La., the mill in Huttig, running the Gulf Station in Haile, La. and selling Avon for over 25 years.  During all of that, she found time to finish two years of Junior College.  Mrs. Martha loved the Lord and played the piano at her church for over 60 years.  She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Mrs. Brantley was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joe Thomas Kelly and Joe Lee Brantley; granddaughter, Cassie L. Kelly; and sister, Mary Christine "Chris" Creel.

Left to cherish her memory are her six sons, Stewart Wayne Kelly of Collinston, La., James Hubert Kelly (Peggy) of Minden, La., Jeffrey Thomas Kelly (Patricia) of Marion, La., Martin Glenn Kelly (Kathy) of Marion, La., Gregory Alan Kelly (Brenda) of Defuniak Springs, Fl., and Leslie Brian Kelly of Groveport, Ohio; twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Sue Waugh of Hernando, Fl.; two brothers, William E. Creel (Penny) of Brooksville, Fl. and Paul Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jaxon Kelly, Cade Easter, Landon Whatley, Brandon Kelly, Jason Kelly and Herbie Worford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles White and Dewey Rhodes.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
