Funeral services for Mr. Mark Alan Odom, age 62 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Blount officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home.

Mark was a man who led by example, and that example always pointed back to a close walk with the Lord. He spent time in prayer every day, read through the Bible every year, and was a mighty prayer warrior. If you met him, you would meet a simple man who had no need to lift himself up to feel important. He was just a guy who loved deeply and made sure that those he loved knew it, especially his wife and daughters. The loss of Mark leaves a deep grief in the hearts of those who love him. But we were so very blessed to share life with him.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Christine Eubanks Odom; sisters: Sadie Odom and Barbara Jordan; and brother: Leroy Odom, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Patti Odom; daughters: LizBeth Odom-Dalton (Chris) and Heather Snell (Mikey); grandchildren: Oliver and Marcie; two brothers: Steve Odom (Cindy) and David Odom; sisters: Christie Williamson (Ray) and Rita Gay Jackson; and numerous family members.
